Foxwell NT510 Elite One vs. Elite Two
I'm looking to buy my first code reader for some upcoming DIYs. I'm not looking to do custom coding so ITSA+ sounds excessive and not sure I totally understand it, but I do need to reset codes and get robust diagnostics.
It sounds like the forum recco is the Foxwell NT510. Went to buy one and it looks like there are two different versions. The Elite One and the Elite Two (see selector on this page). What is the difference between the two other than $70? I'm seeing this on other sites for $170-179 or Ebay for $125, but they don't specify which trim they are from what I can see so not sure if they're the same thing. Thanks |

I'm pretty sure it is software on the scanner for multiple vehicles i.e. BMW and Toyota.

That's it. Elite 1 is software for one make, Elite 2 is for two makes. I'd get the Elite 1, unless you have a second car that's not BMW. You can always buy software for different makes later on.

If it's pre-loaded that saves you the fifteen minutes it would take to download the software. But pre-loaded wasn't an option when I got mine. If you check off BMW on the order that doesn't mean it's pre-loaded, that just indicates which software you're going to download.
