Honestly I would get the kit that comes with all the parts if you are going the OEM route and can afford it. I lucked out and got a good bumper in good condition, this will be different if they do not have a decent bumper in stock. You could also go with aftermarket bumper from Selma etc. for 1/4 the cost and 90% fitment. I will PM both of you costs on the parts.

I bought this msport bumper but it has nothing, just a bumper.. so I have purchased the dual slat high gloss kidney grills, a msport lip, and the middle plastic grill, can someone on here sell me the rest of the parts I need to install.. This bumper will only be used for summer months, now I did purchase the middle/fog light grills of sleezebay, but as you can see the fog lights not the right ones.. I have been in contact with the supplier for the past 3 weeks to get me the right ones,, he has no idea why they wont fit, even with pics they cant help me.. thus I need someone on here that can sell me what I need and will be hassel free, you have product,, I have cash. simple. Hope I can get results like the O.P.. looks awesome.

If the bumper is OEM you could purchase the necessary parts from getbmwparts.com, I would send them a picture of what you have and they will guide you through the process. If you are dealing with a aftermarket bumper your best bet is through the supplier, I am unfamiliar with how OEM parts will fit into the aftermarket frame.

Can anyone help me here? I am trying to make that conversion (including fog light delete). I got the M-Sport Bumper from someone, and it did not come with fogs. Ideally, I wanted to also delete the fogs. Now, the M-sport Bumper has the grills and the support cover for the fogs.

I want to know which part am I missing? I'm speculating that I may need the air ducts, but I am not sure if the car already has air ducts that I may be able to reuse on the M-Sport bumper, or do I need to buy them (part # 51748054229 & 51748054230).

Thanks guys.

how did you go about taking out the foglights?

simple as just removing them, placing bumper on and coding out the error?

was it hard to dismantle the fogs?

My installer Kelly is who did the work in regards to foglight removal so I do not know all the details. From what I understand he removed the foglight housing and zip tied any cables or parts that remained. Once he installed the bumper and replaced the grills it looked clean and OEM. After the fog lights were coded out everything worked flawlessly.

Also the fog light delete is not necessary, I personally like the look of the car without the fog lights and requested that my installer remove them during the install process. If you prefer your car with the fog lights it won't be a problem to keep them- just make sure you get the proper grill inserts for the bumper.
hello for the fog light delete do you need to code? or any steps so you won't get a warning light?

I want to do this conversion as well. I only have the bumper with all the grills. I did, in fact, contact getbmwparts.comn and sent them a few pictures. The guy sent me a list of things I would need to get. (here is the list)

51-11-8-068-130 ADAPTER UNDERHOO 25.91
51-11-8-054-188 MOUNT, BUMPER, F 63.16
51-11-8-054-186 SHOCK ABSORBER F 70.82
51-11-8-051-189 DEFORMATION ELEM 37.10
51-11-8-051-190 DEFORMATION ELEM 37.10
07-11-9-907-337 HEX BOLT WITH WA 1.57 each x 2
51-71-8-055-019 COVER, BOTTOM LE 32.02
51-71-8-055-020 COVER, BOTTOM RI 32.02
51-74-8-054-228 AIR DUCT, BOTTOM 26.66
51-74-8-054-229 AIR DUCT, BRAKE, 26.66
51-74-8-054-230 AIR DUCT, BRAKE, 26.66

Now my question is, I wanted to just get the last 2 parts and call it a day (air duct brakes). However, it seems like I need to get all these other parts as well. Doesn't the car come with most of these parts that I may be able to reuse? Anyone knows if I can do without these parts? Which parts are necessary (I am not looking to do the complete retrofit)?

Thanks for the help guys.

could you take a picture of a closeup of the lip meeting the bumper on the left and right side? I have a huge gap on mine and I am trying to see if its normal.

My car is a 2014 f30 with stock bumper. I just purchased a M-Sport with fog light delete. The bumper already has the grills (that is all). Anyone knows if I can just install the M-Bumper without buying these extra parts listed below? These parts are for the OEM retrofit, and I really don't want to spend more money on parts lol.

51-11-8-068-130 ADAPTER UNDERHOO
51-11-8-054-188 MOUNT, BUMPER, F
51-11-8-054-186 SHOCK ABSORBER F
51-11-8-051-189 DEFORMATION ELEM
51-11-8-051-190 DEFORMATION ELEM
07-11-9-907-337 HEX BOLT WITH WA
51-71-8-055-019 COVER, BOTTOM LE
51-71-8-055-020 COVER, BOTTOM RI
51-74-8-054-228 AIR DUCT, BOTTOM
51-74-8-054-229 AIR DUCT, BRAKE,
51-74-8-054-230 AIR DUCT, BRAKE,

Thanks!

I think exhausts on the 328i are a waste of money and does not sound aggressive but rather tin like. Save the money and add more power to compliment the looks. Can't have a slow turtle looking fast.

oh sorry.. for some context I no longer have this car and own a glacier silver 335i.. akrapovic does not make a exhaust for the 328.
