The photos posted in the thread from Bimmer Post are definitely more flattering. It looks pretty sporty and aggressive to me. I share a lot of the opinions here. I'm most afraid the EPS, I really like feeling more connected to the road. I kinda expect a 5-series to be more comfy but the 3-series should be more sporty.

I like the car overall but those mirrors are so damn ugly. I can't wait for the F3X M3 just hope it don't have those mirrors.

I'd say... these headlights will look very nice and aggressive with it's downward sloping shape. They should look even better with a nice set of brows. Can't wait to see more sightings!

I'm not really very good at all when it comes to rendering. But I took the tail lamps and part of the trunk from another similarly oriented picture of an F10 and erased some pieces to make it look more cohesive and linear. once the headlamps and tail lamps are revealed, the general design is not hard to arrive at.

Beautiful car, except the orange mirror turn signal lights are very hideous. Those mirrors with the turn signal lights are unbelievably bad. I trust that BMW will do something more elegant for the final version.

There are selected Media drives of the F30 prototypes commencing at the current time. However they will be put under embargo until the car is launched towards the end of the year.
There was a similar programme for the F20 1er which you will get to read about next month. Finally to clear up a matter that has become , at best ridiculous. The Mirror mounted turn signals are clear with orange LED's when illuminated. The bar itself is razor thin at the mid section of the mirror just above the black casing on the underside. The orange tape is used to cover the thin light bar it is in no ways the actual LED light bar. The punched holes in the tape show the Light bar which is covered with orange tape to fool the viewer.

Great write-up! I'm not even in the market for these, but I was impressed with your review!

Also, I'm not sure I like that extra crease they added, but it's hard to say with all the camo. I think the lights and kidney will look better than on the E90, but the rest of the car looks almost the same, would liked have seen a bit more evolution. |

Even the E9X cars don't have washer nozzles on the hood. they are hidden by the windshield wiper now.
