If you got the EfficientGrips on your car you've got 18" wheels. The 19" Goodyear tire used is the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2. The Eagle F1 is in a totally different class! Like
The ED has 16" wheels.

I had to settle for what was on my car also. In the past Goodyears have been bad here in the UK, now it would seem they are not.

Every manufacturer has had their share of good and not so good tires. And in Goodyears case the Efficientgrips are not so good. Actually, its more BMW's fault because they are using the Efficientgrip as a high performance summer tire and Goodyear doesn't market it as one. its not in the same league as the PZero, S001, etc..

Maybe the manufacturer that can arguably be excluded from the list of having bombs in their lineup is Michelin.

I started a new thread but didn't need too.

The reason I'm concerned is that in spite of what was said last year. Bridgestone S001s get a poor current write up. It's said they are outdated and need improving according to Motoring press. So I just wonder if BMW have gone to Pirelli, Conti or Goodyear in recent deliveries to Forum members.
