335 Exhaust
So yesterday I participated in the drive for team USA event. It was a lot of fun, I got to drive a red 335 with sport package. I noticed something very interesting as I drove the car, and thought I would ask here for those who know if this is standard or if it was something specific to the individual car was driving.
I drove in manual mode using the paddle shifters, and as I would upshift during aggressive driving, the exhaust would make a whoop sound as it was shifting. In a way it sounded like the sound current 335's make when you're downshifting and it blips the throttle. But except this was during up shifts. Is this normal for an F 30, or was it specific to the car I was driving. I kind of liked the sound so that's why I'm interested if I would expect all 335 models to do this. Thanks in advance!

Hey I was there too. I drove the White 328 Modern line because the 335 was gone

I misquoted, I was actually at the event the day before at BMW San Diego. Nevertheless though it was cool we had bagel dogs and chips and cookies and fruit and all kinds of good stuff to eat and drink, thank you BMW!

This sound that I'm speaking of, actually just gave a point to the BMW as I'm comparing cars for my next purchase.
I was deciding between a C350 coupe, and the BMW 335. I realize that I can't have a coop, Tennessee 350 sedan is just much too boring. The lack of sports seats and paddle shifters really took the car out of the running. So now it's between a 335 and a Cadillac ATS when it comes out.

but either way, if you are going to shop for the 335i, why even consider the ATS? if you are hesitating between the 328i and ATS, then yeah... Anyways, that's my one cent.

The car will be very light and with about 320 naturally aspirated HP it should be quite nimble and quick. But only time will tell...
