DHP , HUD or 19" wheels?
This is for a 435i M-sport build and i can't seem to decide which one of these to go for. Getting all three is not an option (unintended pun) The cost is roughly the same for all of them. If you had to choose one of these, which one would it be and why?
1. Dynamic Handling Package 2. Heads-Up Display 3. 19" wheels

I kind of struggled between DHP and HUD -- never considered the bigger wheels. Seems to me that DHP seems to benefit xi models the most -- however, keep in mind that by choosing DHP on a sport/msport line, you're negating the sport suspension you paid for as part of that line. HUD seems like a fun option, but pretty far from essential, particularly if you rarely use Nav, but it doesn't affect the drive. I voted for DHP.

You're right about the added cost of the Sport suspension in the Sport/Msport lines not being considered when upgrading to DHP. The way it's structured right now, xi and no line/luxury line seem to benefit the most and it ends up being a much more costly upgrade for sport/msport. Sucks.

What size are the wheels otherwise? If they're 17", definitely go for the wheels. If they're 18"... Tough. I have heard DHP really improves things, though.

rims can always be added later. most owners seems to change rims a few years later. hud can not be added at anytime later.
dhp is similar to changing out the suspension and sway bars. that can be done later. HUD should be done now as you cant add or change that later. |

I selected DHP and 19" Wheels... I cancelled HUD and used the $1k to add DHP just before placing my order! Well worth it IMO

So far the DHP seems to be the most popular choice here.

None of the 3. Spend your money on performance (brakes, PPK, exhaust). Unless you need 19" wheels specifically, the 18s are so much easier to wash and easier ride and cheaper tires. HUD is nice, but more of a fad.

I ordered all three but if you are having a hard time choosing, get the dynamic handling package. Many people on these threads have complained about the steering and suspension.
Option 1: Dynamic Handling Package: $1,000.00 Option 2: Heads Up Display: $1,000.00 Option 3: 19" Light Alloy Wheel Double-spoke Style 442 M with Mixed Performance Tires: $900.00 If you plan on changing the stock suspension at some point, don't get option 1; if you plan on changing rims, don't get option 3; if you feel that you must get one of these options, get the technology package instead of navigation. So you have to decide what is best for you. Whatever you choose, you are going to get a very nice car. Good luck and keep us posted on your answer.
