Hi all,

Willing to consider trading my 6MT M235i for an 8AT M235i, 335i, 340i, 435i, or 440i. Local SoCal only. Let me know what you've got. Info on my car:

2015 M235i Estoril Blue exterior with Terra Brown leather (awesome and really tough to find color combo!). Even tougher-to-find 6MT!

--34K miles
--Excellent condition
--Clean title with no accidents
--Title in Hand
--Harman Kardon sound
--Comfort Access
--Moonroof
--New Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires
--No license plate holes in front bumper (front bumper is in amazing condition)!
--Factory bumper-to-bumper warranty transfers to new owner and is in effect til Aug '18 or 50K miles.
--Located in Newport Beach, CA (Orange County)
--Runs perfectly and super fun-to-drive
--OEM M Performance shift knob and alcantara boot (looks great and shortens throw slightly due to shorter knob height).
--Muffler delete with high-quality exhaust tips (exhaust sounds great and is not too loud). Downpipe, cats, and OEM resonator all 100% stock so no smog issues!
--No other mods
--Lowered price to $30,500 firm if looking to buy

Call or text Gregg at 949-433-1422 if interested.

It's pretty shocking you haven't had a single reply. Great car. Must be fun to drive with the 6MT, except in traffic.

The fact there has been no response says a lot for the 8AT. Before this generation of automatic transmission you probably would had had more reaction to your offer to swap. But, the 8AT is just that good.

Good luck!

Thanks -- I know, I'm shocked too! So many enthusiasts out there that seem to only want 6MT's, especially on the forum. I think you're right, the 8AT is quite good and that's a big factor, although they'll always be something more engaging about having that extra pedal.

No worries -- I still love driving it and if something doesn't come along fairly soon, I'll just keep it until I get my next car (saving up for a used Shelby GT350).

What exhaust tips did you use for your muffler delete?

we've been trained by car bloggers and auto journalists to say we only want wagons and 6 speeds.

Hi,
The exhaust tips are ones my local muffler shop carries -- not sure the brand but I've used the same kind many times on my cars ranging from Corvettes to Audis to BMWs. (I always go to the same muffler shop.) The tips hold up great and look as good as the DiMisa Tips I bought years ago for my 335i.
