BMW Launches Sirius XM Satellite Radio Retrofit Program
Since some people have been asking about SAT Radio Coding, for those with S693A Preparation BMW satellite radio, this is a pretty good deal since it includes a 1 Year Subscription:
BMW Launches Sirius XM Satellite Radio Retrofit Program BMW Aftersales has announced a Sirius XM Satellite Radio retrofit program for 2010-2013 BMWs. Certain BMW model year 2010 to 2013 were built at the factory “Satellite Radio Ready”. This means the vehicle includes all necessary Satellite Radio hardware and can get satellite radio with a simple enable code. The enable code is available from BMW dealerships with an MSRP price of $375. The cost includes a one year subscription to the Sirius Everything package plus the Best of XM which matches the factory option offering. To see if your vehicle is Sattllite Radio ready reference the attached chart or better yet contact your dealer. Most vehicles will only require the activation code but some vehicles may require a new head unit or satellite radio antenna.

It's tempting. I didn't want to spend the $900 for the HK sound system and that was the only way to get Sirius. |

HELP! I'm stuck right now at the part where you are coding, save, then click the back green arrow. The instructions say to right click the FA. What is that? What do I do now? Thanks.

In the Top Left of the Coding Window is your Vehicle Order (VO, aka FA). Right click on it and select activate. Once you have an active FA, you can VO Code or FDL Code.

I'm removing the speedlock for dvd video (3 items) on the F30 cheat sheet. I just did activate FA. Then it says on the instruction sheet to select the edited CAFD file and then hit CODE FDL. Is the edited file the one that is under the sub-folder that begins with CAFD which is under the main folder titled "HU_CIC". The file that "sticks out" is CAFD_000000F9_006_009_011. I hope that was the correct one......??
Thanks! |

1. Can someone post the location and values for removing the seatbelt gong?
2. I got the BMW live menu to appear but it says that I need to enable Bluetooth data transfer which I thought I did. Anyone know how to enable Bluetooth data transfer? 3. I saw a couple of references to a2dp and enabled it but its not showing up in Bluetooth settings... Any ideas? Maybe I missed a couple of values? Thanks! Does anyone know if BMW can apply the enable (FSC) code remotely (I have BMW Assist), or do I have to bring it in to be done? |

You will need to bring it in.

The F30 cheat sheet shows that top view and rear camera auto-shutoff can be set in module REM, section 3203, variables D_SCHWELLE_1 and D_SCHWELLE_2. (See screen snippet.)
These two variables work -- but the cameras shut off after approximately 255 meters. Has anyone tried Werte=00? I wonder if that means "turn them off as soon as the car travels at all" or "don't turn off the cameras no matter how far the car has traveled." Thanks.
