No, you need the roof rack for the bikes! I wish I had a wagon to go along with my sedan. Love the wagon, love my F30, absolutely hate the GT.

Dear Lord I just noticed the badging. I can't even take BMW seriously now anymore. This can't be real life.

Is that good thing or a bad thing?

Is that Beyonce's ass or Aretha Franklin's?

(Last Sunday, Be's ass looked quite good to me. I haven't seen ReeRee's ass in quite some time, but I'm thinking it's not what it used to be. LOL)

Here are some pics...
The spoiler thing does have some appeal.

What's with the stylized "GT?" It's not like BMW to have asymmetric sizing on their model names appended to the backs of the cars.

Well no need for a permament solution for that one, you still have to mount the horizontal rack set onto these roof rails so just use the ones for the sedan when u need it

Roof rails are simply ugly and unnecessary

Just to continue this thread jacking, BMW's have hard points for rack mounting that don't require the clips into the door frame approach like pictured. This is a great solution for rack mounting.

$ or more precisely, Euros. Wait until you see the price hike on the 4er, F32 compared to E92 should be amusing.

3 GT is awesome. It is a lowered SUV in my eyes and way more practical. Even the non m sport bumper looks good.

To the haters... Bmw's piece of cr@p are the 1 series and 6 series. They are way more disgusting and impractical than this.

Well said. I don't see the point of sedans.
That being said, my preference is F31>F34>>>F30.

And the sedan looks like a Lada I guess?

I dont see the problem when bmw is making the GT in addition to the sedan and touring. More luggage capacity than the F31 touring, larger real seat space than a F11, nonetheless more compact and lighter than the F11.

Could be my next car, 99% of the cars around here are hatchbacks, wagons or SUVs anyway, would be great to drive something different.

You guys realize that this car is not really targeted at us (enthusiasts). The fact that we don't like the way it looks is not terrible upsetting nor surprising to BMW. That was the whole point. To appeal to consumers who do not find a appealing car in BMW's existing lineup.

Anyway, my deposit is ready for the M3 GT Gran-coupe Diesel Convertible Lime Rock edition iVan. It will be fabulous!

After seeing these comparison picturers it's pretty clear to me that the sedan is the ugly redheaded stepchild in the corner, it really does look Korean, the Touring and GT are the lookers in this family.

Touring wins.

Not even close.

GT is ugly and useless.

In fact, when we wanted a larger sized wagon, BMW's ridiculous decision to stop bringing in 5 series wagons in favour of the monstrosity that is the GT led us into the arms of Mercedes who still (thank god) understand the usefulness of a wagon to those of us that dont want to drive trucks (aka: SUVs or 'crossovers' as they call themselves now)

I like the GT, it looks pretty good.

But I hate the fact that BMW is really milking the ///M name, M badges and footplate on a non M car? I don't like where that's heading
