Just purchasing a jb4 for my vehicle.
Can anyone tell me how to chance the maps via bc button as I understand the volume buttons don't work to do this anymore and burger told me the be buttons is the way to do it.
Also can't find any videos and closest is a 2014 m3/m4 but they are using the volume control buttons for that also.
It already looks confusing as it is. Hoping the product comes with instructions on how to use.
Also do you get the rev counter moving to show the map you are on or indicator flash.

Maps are changed via steering wheel and map number is displayed on the tach.

Thanks I thought so too. But the burger tuning advisor I have been dealing with back and forth says for the f30 it's the bc button on indicator.
But I wasn't sure as on there site the f80 they use as example in the video is using the volume steering wheel buttons.

It's a 2015 f30 if makes any difference which doubt it does

Mine is the BC button. Click and hold for a long time.

Thanks man. So using the bc button does this then just cycle through the bc functions trip computer,date etc and from that show you what map you are one or does is use the rev counter like previous models

Right, the video is wrong but there is notation in the manual

"Note CANflap and menu system for changing maps, enabling the boost gauge, etc, now use exclusively the BC button. The old volume routine is no longer used once you install the OBDII CANbus.

You cycle menus with the BC button.

+1 bluetooth kit with the app makes life so much easier. Definitely worth the extra money.
