The Deal is Done!!

After a couple of weeks speaking to various BMW dealers and lease companies I've settled on what I think is a cracking deal.

335d Msport
Msport+ package
Visibility package
Pro Media package
Electric seats
Heated seats
Service pack
Full tank of fuel
Black grills
48 months
8000 miles

Is due in week 1 2014 cannot wait!!

Thanks for all of the help everyone.

Ray

EDIT:
Guys... I've been asked to change this post by the dealership as they are getting a lot of calls about this deal and it is not something that can be offered. What I'd like to remind anyone looking to get a similar deal is that I worked bloody hard to achieve this level of discount. I spent two weeks emailing and phoning many dealerships country wide looking for the best deal. It's never going to be as easy as making one call and landing a car above and beyond cost. I put up this post so that people could see these deals are out there if you are prepared to work hard to get it... and of course because I'm stupidly excited!!

Anyway, good luck, and I hope you get a deal you are very happy with too.

Managed to haggle a 19% discount in the end which I'm very happy with.

Total costs are £1500 down, £495/m. None of the leases could get close to this price with the spec I wanted.

Now that is a cracking deal. In fact it is THE deal of deals.
I presume that includes VAT.
From where pray?

Yeah that includes VAT.

Went with Barons BMW Farnborough in the end, their deal was too good. Dealt with Greg Trimmer who is a top bloke. Second best (18.5%) was Ollie at Oceans BMW Cornwall.

Oh, its Estoril Blue with black leather. Thought about Mineral grey/coral, but the EB is truly stunning in the flesh.

It will be the fastest car I've ever owned, previous fastest was an e39 540i. I've only had a test drive in the 330d sdrive and that felt about as quick as the 540. Really looking forward to sub 5 second 0-60s!

great work Ray congrats!! , I think my deal is just as good - it took a lot of work and ringing around

I note you have the service pack (did they throw it in FOC?) , I was wondering if I should go with it but the same as you I am 8k miles per year - probably 5-6k in reality so wondering its worth it. I think you can sell it on?

I went with 3 years, I am toying with the idea of 4 years as I can't think of wanting another car in 3 unless a facelift model.... I wonder if I can change it still. I might even buy her after 3 as I imagine there might be equity with low miles... and then part x it a year later.

TRL on babybmw is a cracking contact. I also spoke with Ollie - would have been nice to pick up the new motor from those parts

Hi,

Sounds good, i managed a 330d RWD with the following:

Pro Nav Media
Enhanced BT
Folding Rear Seats (still cannot believe i have to pay for this)
Heats Seats
M Sport
M Sport Plus (H/K, 19" 403 wheels, Xeons with washers)
Folding auto dim wing mirrors
Variable Sports Steering
Sports Seats
5 Years servicing
Seal and protect (although i may cancel this, as i am not sure it is worth it)
Brand new factory order

For £252 per/month x 36 with 14,000K miles per year. Including buying me out of my current E92 PCP which ends in February which has 42K miles on the clock.

Yes, they'll deliver to me (or rather the dealer will).

http://www.freedomcontracts.com/view...=0&ShowDeals=y

Click on the personal tab and it lists the headline prices. Give them a call, or drop them an e-mail with details of any extras and they'll come back to you with a quote for that specification.

Yep factory order with no trade in. Regarding getting the deal, I started at Broadspeed for a benchmark, which was around 15% at the time. Then I called and emailed various dealerships/lease companies around the country to see what they could do. It took about two weeks in total to arrive at something I wanted to pay. Broadspeed did say they would try to beat anything I managed to haggle, but in the end I was happy where I was. So I didn't email them back. Just don't be afraid to ask... and take your time. It's a massive purchase and as a buyer you're in the driving seat.

@dazzapb
The service pack was rolled into the monthly deal. It's listed at the bottom of the proposal with the road tax and delivery charge etc. The reason why I went for the service pack is that I may end up doing more miles, and may end up keeping the car to at least 3 years, just don't know yet. But my current plan is to run it for just under three years... monitoring equity for the optimum time to change. I had a new E91 320d in 2008 which I struggled to hand back at 3 years... amazing car. So I can't see me wanting to give up the 335d in a hurry. Either way, the service pack has me covered for whatever I plan. At 5-6k a year I doubt it will be worth it though. I'm sure I read somewhere that the service pack can be sold with the car so helps residuals?

Yeah I thought about having a weekend in Cornwall while picking the car up (Ollie mentioned sorting out a hotel for me if the distance it was an issue), but Jan in the UK, it might as well have been Swindon! Just couldn't be bothered in the end. If it was the summer, it would have been hard to pass up.

No delivery, have to pick it up from the dealership. Which suits me perfectly. I wouldn't want someone else putting the first few miles on it. PCH are different and usually include delivery to your door. But it's usually driven by someone.

Also if you add the visibility pack it might make it cheaper as it ups the GFV more than it costs with M sport plus pack. You must have got a 20% discount with 9k down and those options.. well done!!!!

Is that just £1500 down with no trade in to get to that monthly - all the lease companies are now saying their allocation is used up so would be useful to know as Barons are my local dealer and i have test driven a 330D through them. Dealt with Paul but lease quote was from someone else - not Greg

Nice deal (similar to mine), great dealer, top salesman.

Bought mine from Greg, it's our 4th car from Barons (I live just down the road) and even too the 335xd back for Greg to take for a spin since they hadn't sold any others! What I didn't know is that he plays golf with my dad too (family friends...). Small world!

Enjoy it when it comes.
