New Car not clearing certain programs?

Was suppose to take delivery of '15 435i today, but apparantly it goes through the normal coding/programming routine before delivery...and my guy told me I couldn't take delivery cause it was not clearing certain programs...and it only happens on random cars? Anyone ever have this or know what this is about?

I'm upset =(

His terminology sounds incorrect, however its not unusual that the first arrivals of new MY cars can sometimes take longer to get through prep. BMWNA isn't always ready with the new software updates and sometimes the dealers haven't yet downloaded the updates.

Very likely they'll have it sorted in a day or so.

it could be a bad ECU or something. thats very possible.

My car is fine, my guy emailed me the 31st which was the next day and said everything was perfect and ready to be picked up but I'm in Punta Cana so I'll have to wait till this coming Wednesday when I get home to pick it up haha.
