Very nice! There's not as much poke as i would expect with 19x9.5 et+33 I'm starting to shop around for a new set of wheels as well and it seems +33 is a good target. It looks like you are doing a mild stretch on your tires. What are you running?

In either case, seems like whether OP goes conservative with +45 (then adding spacers) or aggressive, straight to +33, it will work fine and still look great!

The tires do look a bit stretched for my taste. This stretching and the mild drop is what is creating enough clearance without issues of rubbing. I'll ask as well, what are your tire specs? Thanks for sharing....

I am actually running BMW's spec of rear wheels and tires for many of their cars. My car has X-Drive, so I wanted to go with a tire that was exactly the same outside diameter as OEM spec. I am running 255/35/19 Michelin PSS square on square 19x9.5 ET33. My goal was to be able to properly rotate the tires, and not effect the X-Drive.

I just picked up the wheels, now the question is ... I'm wondering whether I should go with F: 245/35/19 R:265/35/19 orrrr F:235/35/19 and R:265/30/198

If speedo diff is a primary concern of yours, the first set gives you a better (~1% or less) differential from OEM specs. The 2nd set is not much worse.

The 2nd set is a little more sexier (lower profile), but you might not be able to tell the difference.

Its like trying to decide between new york strip or rib eye I swing a little more towards the 'form' crowd than 'function' but thats just me

What ^^^ he said.

Keep in mind that different mfg's will give you a slightly different look than others. The 245 might look the same as a 235 from a different mfg. Some have more of a round or square side wall.

245/40, 265/35 is a 1.5% diameter difference and your x-drive transfer case will not play nicely. you need to do either 235/40/19, 265/35/19 Or 245/40/19, 275/35/19. both are 0.4% diameter difference that your x-drive will play nicely with.

before you buy vmr v801 read this thread so you know what you might be getting...https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1619788
