Very sharp F31 Got to love those 442M alloys !! And add my vote for the OEM grills !
The front licence plate would look better on-centre, but that's a personal choice.

It's going to be a challenge to keep the engine below 3500 rpm for the 1st 2000 kms; this car just loves to fly !!!!

Looks great! Excellent choice!
Tell me about your roof box. How do you like it? Is it easy to access? Did it kill your mpg?

After 4 months with box on, I am glad I got the Hyper XL. You can haul a lot of gear. A LOT!!! I have the box centered on the roof as you have access from both sides. The interior of the box is lit so night time access is a breeze. As to MPG...I've noticed maybe a 10% difference, if less. I have this set up on Thule Aeroblades crossbars (VERY KEY as it's low profile) and for a bigger box, this one is pretty aerodynamic. Nice thing about the box is the mounting system is 4 claws...easy one easy off. https://www.thule.com/en-us/ca/cargo...-612-_-1680020 https://www.thule.com/en-us/ca/roof-...e-7602-_-7602a Hope your questions are answered! Of course.....I just posted about rack response to cncmastr, but if you are wondering about wheels and tires, here they are:
Square Setup Niche Verona wheels 18X8 ET40 Nokian WRG3 tires 225/45R18 I've taken a gamble with having non runflats as winters, so I travel around with goop and an inflator. The offset on the wheels aren't factory spec but they sit very well and the barrel of the wheel clears the M Sport brake. I've had the WRG series for the last 8 winters....and these are true all weather tires that are M+S stamped. Being in Vancouver we don't get snow often...but I do head up to the mountains quite often and these are really the best of both worlds. If you are looking for more dedicated winters check the Nokian Hakkapeliitta series. |
