New Introduction: PDU N55 PI KIT

UPDATE: 4/5/16

Finally received our batch of aluminum spacers back from CNC so I snapped some new pics.

Just drop me a line: info@performancedesignunlimited.com

Hi Guys,

Here's a quick rundown of some key updates to our PI Kit...

Complete Kit, just as before all hardware and Split Sec controller comes included...

Removed the old access port connection for a HPFP/Fuel rail combo that connects down at the LPFP line w/new PTFE lined fuel hoses rated to 1000psi.

Added aluminum injector spacers.

For the people who have asked, ALL injectors that have been part of our kits since day one have been brand new.
E85 compatible & flow balanced to within 1-2% with an included flow report that is logged and maintained here both hard & electronically.

Design Rendering Pics

Detailed shots of the fuel rail.

Here's some live action of my personal car using the first working prototype of our kit targeting anywhere between 21psi - 23psi

As far as everyday driving goes with my current setup it's 100% stock like. Under WOT situations the car while stable can present traction issues.

As a noob, can somebody explain how Port injection is leading to these gains? What are the supporting mods that allow it to run at these power levels? Just curious I assume you'll need bigger turbos?

Good question, yes, first and foremost to achieve the level of performance that I've posted you'll need an upgraded turbo. In a nutshell our HPFP cannot meet the demand thats placed on it when running higher ethanol content/power levels.

Take for example my car, while I was FBO, upgraded turbo, LPFP & meth, my car was peaking at most around 21psi running ~e50 before fueling became a problem. HPFP could not meet the demand.

This is when PI kicks in and supplies more fuel when needed. It also allows you the ability to run higher ethanol content, up to 100% if desired. I no longer run meth.

Not necessarily useless.

Another example is a customer we had in South America. Methanol is a highly controlled substance and E85 is not available.

This particular car runs race fuel.

Pre PI Kit install, peak power came in at 4k rpm at which time boost was immediately reduced due to lack of fuel.

Post PI Kit install, peak power remained the same however the car was able to maintain all the way through redline. Gained 60-70whp on the top end after PI/tuning.

I was just looking for a better way to manage e85. Jb4 piggyback was thought for me and now this. Subscribed!

Will this work for the F10 N55?

Do itttttt!!!!! It's only $1550 now! Tier 3 pricing

I should have my car up and running on Monday or Tuesday.

And I could be wrong, but I highly doubt it, but it should work just fine with your car. Same exact motor. Do you have a PS2?

Ahh ok. This will still be beneficial if you want to go full e85, but you won't get the full potential until you go upgraded turbos.

Here's some updated race footage from last Shift Sector event here in CA.

All these runs where 26psi with the exception of the final run against the C63s which was 28psi. I lost two races, to a modified ZR1 and P Turbo. Both dominated the launch , by the time I recovered it was to late.

vs P Turbo

A customers preliminary dyno chart. These #s where done on a stock ECU with JB4 only tuning, 28psi, E85.

The car is currently awaiting a Eurocharged ECU flash tune.

I have no doubts that the 600whp barrier on a hybrid turbo for our N55's will be broken.

Here's quick breakdown on the car:

FBO PWG F30 N55
PURE STG 2
PDU PI Kit
JB4
FUEL-IT STG 2 LPFP
