Xdrive Rear Offset Question

After an extensive wheel search. I think I've finally settled on a set of wheels.

the specs are:

F: 19x8.5 et 38
R: 19x9.5 et 35

I am wanting to use the stock tires at:
F: 225/40-19
R: 255/35-19

I've search the forums quite extensively and it seems that for the rear something in the offset range of 40-45 is ideal. But it seems like the 35 would be just fine. Can anyone provide any additional commentary on these offsets?

I am on stock (mperformance) and looking for a direct fit without any other adjustments.

I go with 20x9 and +35 all around. Fitment is pretty flush on my f32.

19x9.5 ET 35 puts tires pretty much flush on my 2015 435 coupe, but I'm using 275 rear tires

The same aftermarket wheels (style 437M) marketed for the F30 have ET 40 for the rears
