f30 locking sound

Hey guys, I've had a couple of BMWs in the past and you guys know the original BMW locking/unlocking sound, when I first picked up the f30 and locked the car when I got home, I noticed that the car doesn't make the lock confirm sound. I went through settings too and I just bought a '12 x5 5.0 so I'm pretty sure its not a 2012 thing to do, any way to code this?

It sounds weak and soft. I love how the old cars made a loud click. Sounds of quality

Do you mean the beep sound? It comes coded by default to not make any sound at all! If you can find the audible_confirm module on your coding tables then you can enable the option in the iDrive's menu to enable the beep sound when you lock it.

No need to code, just go under settings and click "audible" off for door lock.

To my knowledge -- 328i doesn't have the alarm by default, so if you don't have the alarm the beeps can't be activated.

Agreed - I don't have the anti-theft option, so no beep-beep. Just the lights flashing.
