328 takes longer to start

Hi

Recently I noticed that my 328 would take few additional cranks to start in the morning, where as before the car would start on the 3rd crank, now it might take 5ish. The problem started after filling up at random gas station while traveling, so maybe it's fuel related? My current plan is to use up the current tank, drop a bottle of techron in and fill up with shell. Does anyone have any insight regarding this issue?

Could be your fuel pump - I'd take it in sooner rather than later because if it is that, and it fails, you could be stranded.

Ask me how I know

Thank you. I will mention it to my dealership when I take it in. Problem is that this hard to reproduce as it usually only happen after leaving the car off overnight, after that it will run fine for the rest of the day.

Take a video of it happening and compare it to a normal crank cycle. With that, they should be able to keep it overnight and reproduce it themselves.

Ok I will try that . Hopefully it's not real fuel system problem since I only drove 10k miles in the two years I owned the car.
