Service advisor lied
I dropped my bmw to get a top off since i had no time to go during the day and the next day at 9 am, the service advisor called saying my car was ready. I went back at 8 pm and asked for my car and they told me it wasnt ready, i got dropped off at the dealer so obviously i had to find a ride home again. What kind of service advisor calls and states the car is ready but doesnt release it? Should i demand them to detail my car hahaha.

You know stuff happens. If it were me, I would talk nicely to the SM and give him the opportunity to make it right, either this time or for a future visit. People are human, and yes you were put in a bad situation, but in the end, you should use this for "leverage". I was in a similar situation a while back, and since then I have had nothing but stellar service from that particular SM.

My dealership has a service shuttle if you don't have a ride.

god forbid a dealer makes a mistake. how many cars do they have under their car at one time?
not to mention, in their eyes, they all look 85% the same. simple mistake. if you want to buy a car and never have a single slip up, maybe consider a rolls royce.
