Thanks
The cost was £420.00 for all 4 wheels, BMW listers had to rebuild the wheels as they have to be sent "bare".
No extra costs were put to me though.

Looks nasty! I think I would have the same sort of thing if I let my wife park my car I know how annoyed I would be but at least it's cosmetic and can be repaired. Better than her being that bit further on your side and causing a bigger accident. It'll be put right soon

Took the car in to dealer this morning to have a look at the wheel damage and they reckoned £65 + VAT saying the damage isn't "deep".

On the way there... another puncture (not the damaged wheel though). At least this time it told me which wheel I suppose. That's two punctures in about 4 months. At this rate I'm going to be through my 5 tyre allowance before I know it!

Garage checked and the tyre was 1.2bar (about 1bar too low).

Perhaps off topic but - do you have the tyre pressure monitoring system or only the flat tyre monitor??

Think UK F30's only get the flat tyre monitor, whereas US-spec F30's get the full TPMS.

You're right, in this thread Flat tyre monitor (doesn't tell you which one) there was some discussion about this, but seemed like the conclusion was the 3 Series system is just flat/low-pressure warning, unlike the 'proper' TPMS you get on the 5 Series?

(Oh and there must be a particular situation where the system doesn't tell you which tyre has the problem as I experienced in that thread, because this morning it definitely did say which one!).
