Doorsill kickplate for no line 328?
Does anyone have a picture of the doorsill/kickplate for a no line 328? All the online photos only show the specific ones for sport, modern, m sport, luxury, or hybrid. Does this mean the base line has no aluminum/metal plates, and is just a regular doorsill?

It's the small things in luxury cars that make all the difference. Some ambient lighting here and there, some nifty feature, some small design feature. Personally I've always liked having aluminum kickplates, esp the illuminated ones found on some higher end luxury models. It just adds another level of elegance and "lux". While it's not in any way a deal breaker or w/e, I'll def miss it.

True, my no line came with Tech/Premium/Cold Weather...so is it >luxury line I could've had at the same price?
I just didn't like the look of any of the lines, ultimately I was going to go with the full CF interior so the extra $1500-3000 didn't make sense. On top of that, only the no line or M sport line don't look goofy with sporty elements like a CF lip or CF mirror covers, so....

What I'm saying is that BMW should have had aluminum kickplates on ALL the cars. Go ahead and have the "special labeled" ones for the lines, but at least have a silver one saying BMW on the no line. Back when I was in a e90 they always gave me a little kick when I saw them getting into the car, and people definitely noticed/commented. |

I'm pretty sure you will find the replacement doorsill kickplate from eBay sooner or later.
