When I added the Individual options my car immediately went into lockdown so I couldn't add any more options. That was a month before the allocated build date and I was told that because of the Individual options they had to lock it just to guarantee it otherwise it would have been pushed back. If you have a build slot that is 4-5 weeks after ordering I don't think there would be a problem based upon my order. I suppose it all depends on the spec. Sorry I can't be any more help

In answer to your first question, The 19s are as far as I know the standard 403Ms, I didn't specifically request anything different about them. Although they are from before they went scarce so maybe that has something to do with it
There were a few things I didn't add, but not many

Fortunately I have a very caring wife who considers my happiness to be most important. At least, I hope that's the case... Let's just hope she never has to be put to the test, I'll just shred all the paperwork just to be on the safe side

I am loving the black trim, makes it look classier than the aluminium type trims (look like painted silver on the idrive panel). Is that piano black XE7? More pictures needed of your car please |

I haven't seen the two tone wheels I'll have to do a search and see if I can find something to compare them with mine.

A 23 month old and a 6 month old with a light interior probably wasn't the best idea. That's why I have my car and my wife has the family wagon

EDIT: Ignore me....having looked at all the pics online, it is probably just the difference between indoor and outdoor light differences. The Grey parts look darker indoors. Last edited by NISFAN; 09-02-2012 at 06:28 AM.. |

I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the Piano black trim......I have it in my Mercedes.
I find in the Merc, it gets scratched really easily. It is made from black plastic, no painted surface....is this the same with the BMW piano black? |

I'm hoping I never have to find out how it scratches, although from the VIN check it says: Indiv. int.trim strips, piano paint, black so I can only assume it is painted although unable to confirm

The M-Sport braking system was an added £570 (approx $900) which I thought was a great price

Even the wait wasn't an issue as my delivery date managed to be 3 weeks ahead of the original one so if anything it brought it forward for me
