F30 328i N26 Quad Exhuast

Does anyone have any suggestions on a quad exhaust? I went with the MPE but kind of regret it bcuz it is not loud enough. I was looking at AWE and REMUS, I believe those are my choices. I want something loud but not ricey or should I just get a straight pipe? If so, what are the choices?

AWE exhaust ftw. The up shifts are addicting.

If I want the EXACT setup as the video (black tip and quad) on my f30, what is the final price out the door, bought and installed?
thanks.

You plan on cutting the hole in you bumper, or you gonna get a msport bumper and diffuser setup? I am actually in the process of converting mine to quad, and getting the awe set up. M sport bumper with this quad diffuser

http://www.esetuning.com/bmw-428-f32.../exterior.html

Still waiting for it to arrive. Keep us updated, I can't afford it all at once so I'm doing the body work first

I don't know how much everything would be but just for parts I know it'll be about $2k and I don't know if I want to cut the bumper or get the m sport bumper with quad diffuser

Something you gotta figure out. Because with paint and parts roughly another 2k for msport/diffuser. Unless you go eBay route then 500-800 cheaper

ahh... lucky you. it's definitely best to see/hear live in person. i wish i could've done that with dinan because mine (428iGC) drones at low cruising rpms. if i had known this i would not have got it.

i think the vidclips of awe sound better because they have a mid-pipe upgrade, which is additional.

Yes, I cut my bumper. It's fairly easy to install by yourself with the right tools.

Paired with ER downpipe, it sounds aaaaaaaamazing. I'm stuck with using my paddles on the streets because it sounds so nice if you shift at 3k or above and it's just mesmerizing to list it slowly fall in revs as you come to a stop.

yeah that definitely an advantage but when I bought the MPE I bought it based off of videos and also I didn't want to void warranty at the time lol but also what is a drone...? Idk what that is and a lot of people talk about it

So you'd recommend Remus over AWE? For sound, performance and quality?

Here's a video of an individual who converted to quad tip (no mid pipe) in his driveway (he's pretty entertaining, too). Not limiting you to any specific plan of attack regarding install by any means, just simply sharing so you can see it isn't too big of a move to make in terms of getting it done. Stock vs post-install sounds, too.

I was looking for someone with a straight pipe. So if you do it post some vids. Really want to hear one in person soon so I can make my decision. Mpe = Too quiet

Do you think this would work just as efficiently on the 420i? I'm thinking of doing this however I have been concerned about how the quads will fit in regards to the battery that is on the right hand side of the car.
thanks!

The pipe diameter is smaller on the 20s. So with the stock DP configuration, it wouldn't. If the 420 had a DP from a 328/428 then it would, but only with our full configuration (exhaust and mid pipe). Make sense?
