F30 Coding Videos - Features that can be coded for your F30

Hey guys,

Got my car coded (Thanks Frogman!!!) with a few cool features recently and thought I'd share some videos so you guys can see what each feature does. Some are pretty straight forward but I still captured them in case people were wondering.

I'll keep updating this post as I get time to film more of the new features I got via Coding.

Any questions, ask away

1. Auto Fold mirrors on Lock, Auto Unfold on Unlock

2. Auto Fold mirrors on Lock, Auto Unfold on Unlock via Comfort Access

3. DVD Video while in motion

4. Configure Sport Settings to allow for Drivetrain only, Chassis Only or Drivetrain & Chassis (The default setting in Sports mode) - Supposedly this feature of customizing the sport setting comes with the Handling package option which my car didn't come with.

5. M logo in instrument cluster display at unlock/power on

6. M logo Splash Screen at Startup on NBT Navigation Screen

7. Tire Temperature in TPMS Display

Wow, how many code violations is that - driving whilst watching a video and filming everything all at the same time ?

How did you manage to get the mirrors to fold on lock without holding the button down? I have only been able to get them to close on lock if I hold the lock button down

I believe there I actually a setting when you code it that allows you to set the delay for how long you hve to hold it down. I believe mine was coded for 1 second. But I'd prefer to have it recoded so it can be instant.

That is correct!

Adamr check the delay setting to adjust to make it instant!

Very cool,

Luckily if you buy an actual M car you don't need to code the nav screen to display an M logo.

Not really sure and wouldn't want to give you a wrong answer, so maybe you can post in the coding forum, or check on bimmerfest I know they have a seperate coding forum on there

Why are you so sore about it? Did he try to stick an M4 badge on his car? No he didn't. I honestly don't get why some M owners are so insecure about their purchase. Anyone can do whatever they want with THEIR car, feel free to do the same with yours.
