The fewer letters and numbers you insert in the Cargo ID field, the more cars will come up on the list. Start with the first letter (W) with say 5 or so letters & numbers following and see what happens.

If your car's details have not been updated, it won't show.

My local dealer Rolfe Classic emailed me with the ETA and i worked out which ship based on the WW website schedules. my production date was end of first week of September so it found the boat quite quickly. I guess delivery will be in the first week or so of November which will make it a nice birthday present

Hm it took about 3 weeks after build for it to appear. Were you given a hard build date?

On the bmwvin site there's the prod date which was last month, yet to see it track. Friend has asked his dealer and was given "delay in parts" line...

so i guess, nothing i can do now but wait.....

Weird. What did you order?

It takes about a week to build .. so then maybe 1-2 weeks to appear on the tracking site.

I'm sure it's been completed and on it's way. If it was delayed you dealer would inform you.

I'm feeling a little frustrated myself, though I haven't been waiting as long as some people...

I've been keeping an eye on the 2wglobal website and I noticed that the shipment of cars to the Durban dock on the 19th included vehicles with VINs that ended as high as 598, where as my car ends in 648.

My dealer told me last week that the status of my car is 182 which I understand means that it is being handed to the shipping agent.

Today the 2wglobal site updated with a batch of new cars delivered to Durban with VINs ending in up to 695. The cars delivered today are from a production run ending 19/9 whereas mine ended 17/09 and still doesn't appear on the site.

Knowing what's happening with your car is great, but not knowing why its apparently delayed can be annoying. I'm sure by the time my car arrives I will have gone through several F5 keys.

Seems to not be a lot of consistency - there are now cars on the tracking site that have production dates only a week old. Perhaps they monitor these forums and just figure they will have a laugh by delaying the vehicles of the people who know how to stalk them :P

It will turn up on tracking when it's at the shipping yard and WW logs it into their manifest.

Mine was delayed in showing up longer than I thought because it essentially wasn't listed on the next ship to leave, so you should find it turns up when it's due on the next boat out of Durban.

If you want me to double check the tracking for you, feel free to PM me your VIN and I'll take a look for you mate.

Thanks man, I've checked and checked and I'm sure it isn't tracking just yet.

I just wish I knew an ETA is all

Actually it just turned up there today. I've been pretty lucky so far - it's been exactly 3 weeks since I ordered and paid my deposit and my car is already sitting at the dock waiting for a boat that leaves in less than a week.

From the info I have to hand, Aussie BMW stated April '12 production.
