I'm Kushanth from Bangalore, India. My other rides are ML350, Yeti & Ecosport.

Like many, i was eager to buy X1 and since the deliveries were getting delayed the dealer offered me a discount on 2015 GT 320D Luxury variant. We Indians are blessed with ridiculous custom duties which ranges from 120-150%. The current 2016 GT 320D Luxury variant cost approximately 88000 USD and i was offered around 75000 USD for '15 GT320D Luxury White with saddle brown interiors which has smaller display console, less power (6bhp & 20nm) and no navigation.

nice setup - I'm curious about this one thou: 8KM - oil service 12000 km / 12 months - do you get that as an option in India? We have much higher intervals here and I was just asking my dealer to arrange an oil change at 10k instead of 25k.

India is pot hole heaven.. 30% - 40% of roads are broken even in cities like Bangalore and the traffic is hectic. My daily commute to work is around 6km which will take anywhere from 20-35 mins off peak hours. Since the conditions are bad all car manufacturers have shorter service intervals. You'll be lucky if the brake pads and tires last 30000 km.
