To be fair, next door's Cayenne S Diesel has one - does sound good. Also test drove an SQ7 that had one. In right application, works well.

Yup I did it. Was great for a while then novelty wore off and changed it back. Very quick and simple to do.

Ironic that now have M3 and have turned ASD off altogether (exhaust is plenty loud enough!!).

I listened on Yamaha speakers and it still sounded shit, far to synthesized for my taste. That kind of thing is best left to SQ5 drivers IMHO.

hmm, every person that has heard it in real has commented how real it sounds. the sound comes directly from the exhausts and you can even feel the sound. I don't think my recording is any justice to it.

From what the BMW rep told me, this is for the LCI model only.

Can you confirm that?

Mine is LCI. I have him my ref and he confirmed. Sorry can't confirm if it is LCI only but I will ask.
