To be fair, next door's Cayenne S Diesel has one - does sound good. Also test drove an SQ7 that had one. In right application, works well.

So can this be fitted to the standard twin 335d exhaust or do you have to have a custom exhaust to have space for it to fit?

I listened on Yamaha speakers and it still sounded shit, far to synthesized for my taste. That kind of thing is best left to SQ5 drivers IMHO.
