How does the F30 ride compare to the E90?

I'm thinking of upgrading to a F30 as soon as I can fix my E90 330i and can sell it.

How does the handling compare?
I had runflats onm my E90 and replaced them with nonrunflats.

Have they finally sorted the ride out for the new F30?

A lot's been said here an in the automotive press that should answer your question. In short, it handles as well, perhaps better than the E90, but it does so in a less communicative way. It is a very pleasant car to drive, however, especially in typical situations. It is a full on midsize sedan and even a base, or modestly optioned, model 328i, which has quite ample power, will be quite satisfying to anyone who doesn't care about gizmos and gee-gaws.

As you have an E90, I would say you need to spend some time in the F30 to really appreciate it, but having done so, appreciate it you will. I was, as recently as last week, very "down" on the F30, but after spending a day with an F30 service loaner, I strongly recommend it.

I posted some additional observations here: http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=720046.

I had the stock 18's on my e93 first with runflats and then without. I hated the runflats on that car, entirely too rough on Houston streets. Changing to Nitto nonrunflats provided better traction around rough corners and a softer ride.

I now have 19s with the pirelli runflats on my F30 and the ride is very good. I do NOT have the VSS or M sport suspension. Driving around the pothole-ridden streets is MUCH improved in the F30. Highly recommend!
