435i cooling fan problem
Hi,
I was driving my 435i today, slowed down quickly on the highway and the radiator fan turned on 100% sounded super loud. Wanted to get To my destination before I restarted my car. Once i restarted everything went back to normal. Also it's 9 degrees outside. Excuse my language |

how many miles? I wonder if it's water pump related. It's electric and IIRC starts acting like this just before it fails.

Congratulations - you have unlocked the hidden BMW Snow Blower function...
But seriously, that's probably an indication that the waterpump is failing. That same sound happened on my 330i before its waterpump crapped out without warning. Send video - minus excessive language to service department at your dealership of choice and book appt. if under warranty. |

Sounds like my 2013 335i. Just got out of shop for issue like this intermittently. apparently was a fault in electric fan. car did fine on the way home after fan replaced. More time will tell for sure. Paperwork says car had fault code 1A2108 and refers to BMW SIB 12 29 14 (which is what I was searching for when I stumbled upon your thread).
