Introduction

Hi everyone,
Recently joined the forum as I bought an F13 640D 2 weeks ago, moved from a 350Z which I enjoyed for 3 years.
Based in N.Ireland, I've come to the F30 section for a bit of banter & craic as things are very quite over on the F12/F13 forum.
Anyway Hi!

Welcome... I think this feels a little like the UK forum generally!

And given how many aspects of the cars are shared- eg. engines, idrive and nav system... And the discussion on dealers, deals, non 3 series banter, Then plenty to learn here too.

Welcome, always loved the 640d as it looks stunning but the odd few suggest that it has dodgy handling

Haven't given it an enthusiastic drive yet, and never driven a car like this before to compare it with, but I'd be surprised if it has handling issues

You weren't driving one of the 6 series car at the NI BMW show in Carrick today? There was a grey car sporting some seriously nice alloys and some lowered suspension. I'm one of the NI peeps on here too. I gave up trying to register on NI BMW. The moderators haven't approved any of my attempts to register in over 2 years now. And the craic on here is great, usually at the expense of Audi and VAG.

Thanks, the 350 is a great car, it was hard to part with her, if I'd the space to keep her I would have.
