Highest HP N20 with ECU tune only

Hi guys,

Is there a dyno compliation to verify who has the most power with the n20 engine tuned?

This is what I've been able to get out of a stock 328 tune only:

Couple things I noticed compared to MY2012

1 - Baseline numbers are lower than MY2012 @ 241/263
2 - The pulls seemed quite short....what was your top speed?
3 - From my calculation using the charts shown you had gained: 21hp/67ft-lb and not the 46/69 you claimed.

There is no compilation on who has the most power. From my time around here I would have to say Evolution Racewerks is in 1st place with myself closely behind in 2nd.

I'm waiting for my charge pipes to be returned from ER. Slight mistake on there behalf, needed polishing and was missing hardware. I'm hoping to be back on the dyno next Thursday.

I could be wrong but if you go on BMW Brazil and click the 320i their first page with all the fancy features shows xenon's.

Maybe they are standard in Brazil?

I am sure he was kidding and I was as well. I have halogens and I actually like them. LOL... Call me the oddball. I wish they could have had the halos atleast but oh well. When I was looking in 2012/2013, you had to special order them with the HIDs and I didn't want to wait.

As someone who has had halogen on my previous two cars I must say I love love the Xenon's on my new car however I would really be fine with the halogen's if they still had angel eyes!

Anyway can someone confirm is Xenon's are standard in Brazil?

Since dyno numbers are different from one dyno to another , you cant tell which one is making the most power.

Although dyno #'s are variable and subjective you should still be able to get a ballpark. Considering myself and ER are very close in #'s I could very well have the most power

or

not

Rather than personal numbers, dynos can be used to find out the best setup.
For Example if tune X with Downpipes Y is getting big number with different users, different dynos across the country then yes you can ballpark the gains with that setup.
