My baby has finally arrived! I picked it up yesterday around noon from Crevier and boy let me tell you, car is amazing! I will give a few more details and initial impressions when I have a few spare minutes in the next day or so. Overall, the new F30 will not dissapoint!

I already had the windows tinted today too. Made a huge difference IMO to the sportiness of the car.

where did you get ur tint job? also are you leasing? can you post some post tint pics?

finally a photo confirmation that the 335i without Technology (without Nav) package will come with partial blacked out instrument panel !!

How did the tinting on the dot matrix (rear window) come out? Would be great if you can snap a pic. I'm looking for a good tint place for my 335i when it comes in as well. Thanks!!!

Extended instrument panel is standard on the 335's but not the 328's... Keeping my fingers crossed on mine.

Sometimes I feel sorry I didn't choose MG. Wow.

But Sapphire is also ok.

Your car looks awesome Robin NL, no question about that!

I must admit though, as someone else said earlier, I think this might be my favourite looking F30 so far.

Personally, I happen to be a fan of chromeline exterior against the MG paintwork (which is why partly I went MG Luxury line), but with the 19inch rims on this MG sportline, I think I could have been persuaded, if only it wasn't too late...

Hey what is your opinion in not getting the Nav pkg aka (Tech Pkg). Do you not get the screen that shows the cards when you change mode and configure the modes and so on?

Very nice. I have not had a chance to see the F30's 19" wheels in person yet, but in these pictures they look similar to the 19" wheels we have on our F25 X3, with maybe a different offset. Have you by chance compared the appearance of your wheels to those on the X3?

3 series wheels are different from X3 wheels... different model number too.

I personally use GoogleMaps with Nav on my Droid, so nav in a car is not really neccesary for me. As much as I would have liked the HUD, the cost of the package doesnt make sense to me.

Yes, the screen does show the visual of the car when you switch modes from Comfort to Sport.

Got the Tint done at Jimmy's in Newport/Costa Mesa on Superior. They do all the work for Sterling BMW so all they have in there are BMW's. Have to say, i am very impressed with the tint job...

The car has light(35%) on all 4 side windows and medium (20%)on the rear window.

i ordered from sterling and my CA told me today he would refer me to a place. im guessing it will be the same place you went. is your tint considered legal in CA though? i thought we couldnt tint front, front driver and front pas windows.

but damn, looks noice!

some pics of the rear make it look like a lexus though... maybe just the angles

It is indeed illegal. But practically everyone in the OC drives a BMW, Merc or Lexus with tinted windows and no front plate. Even the old folks. Hopefully, the popo won't care.
