@sgp

Sorry I should probably take a reading comprehension course, I see you did mention that it was immediately.

As promised a couple shots with the cell phone forgive the quality but it shows the drop on a base model 328i RWD with no line suspension using Dinan Springs and ride quality kit.

The sun was bright and not ideal for shooting these photos, however, you can fit a little under two fingers between the wheel well and the tire. It sits lower but not slammed by any means. It also leaves plenty of ground clearance.

Sure but I will need to wait until tomorrow when I can find time. I will use a real camera too so we will see if it can improve the image quality for those interested in the spring kit.

Looks good to me. I am a bit biased though.

Here are a few more, the addition of BMS spacers 10mm in front and 15mm on the rear has significantly improved the cars stance. I still have not had time to polish up the car and use a DSLR but these are more iPhone shots. I don't want to flood the discussion with them, but I thought others who might want to see what the Dinan springs on base suspension look like with wheel spacers on the stock wheels might look like.

I find it much improved. See below:

i'm as surprised as you are. Did not expect this at all, but ultimately i was not very happy with the sloppy suspension so a full coilover replacement was well overdue.
Is Eibach kit comming with shorter bump stoppers too?
Dinan sell their performance kit with shorter bump stops to compensate for the lower stance of the car and suspension travel.

I don't know if it really compensates for the reduced travel, but it does prevent the damper from running into the bump stops during normal operation. I had to purchase the shorter stops separate from the springs. It came to a little over $400. But if I were to do it again, I would probably just have the shop shave the bump stops that are currently on the car.

The springs have fully settled, it has been about a week and a half. Here are two final shots.

That looks so much better than I thought wow. I was going to come on here to ask if I could pair Dinan bumpstops with a different spring kit like H&R sports for a larger drop but I think the Dinan kit looks great with stock 17s. I had those wheels until a month ago & now am on 19s so should be an even tighter gap. Just so I'm clear - no strut change correct? Does Dinan suggest one or is this kit built to work with the stock struts?

I am going for the Dinan springs and its handling kit as well. Dealer is giving me the labor cost right now. Hope it won't kill the deal.

I find that I often bottom out the front of the car especially going through dips on the road or really rough roads. Hate to hear the loud bang when it shocks has reached its limits and hitting the bump stops. It is mostly the front and not so much the rear. Wanted to find a remedy for it. Changing to the dinan bumpstops or going for just the front bilstein shocks.

I am on the baseline shocks. They have done very well with the springs. I have not hit the bump stops yet.

Spacers were installed on the wheels and pushed them out 10mm in front and 15mm in the rear which helps eat up the shadow that is created by the fender well and causes it to look lower than it initially did after the installation. I would advise that if you are dropping the car you consider wheel stance as well as it allows for a higher clearance that appears lower. Visually tricks the mind (at least mind, maybe it is all in my head), but it is at least worth consideration.

I appreciate the bias.

One last follow up, I put it on 18x8 ET34 wheels BMW style 216, with the front 10mm spacers and rear 15mm spacers. I really like the way it sits with the Dinan Springs. Again this is the base suspension, no DHP.
