Question Steering vibration - shaking under braking

Guys... and maybe gals,

My F30 is from April 2012, it has currently about 36K miles. I have the stock 335i brake.

I have been feeling light steering shaking and vibration whenever i just brake toward a red light... or slowing down on the freeway...

Road are smooth each time...

what are your suggestion for getting rid of this cheap feeling ?
what is it due to ? I thought electric steering dont give you feedback ?

Can someone here with more experience help or explain please ?

Thanks in advance.

Typically that is from slightly warped rotors. Might be time to take your car in for its first brake job.

Definitely warped rotors.

Or it could be pad deposits on the rotor. Make several very hard stops back to back and see if that helps.

If it is covered, then i am looking forward to my next loaner...

Thanks guys!

It feels unpleaseant to have the brake and the steering shake and vibrate so cheaply like that.

I wasnt sure if its the alignment or balance of the wheels...
Or a combination...

The vibration can be caused from warped rotors or blown front struts. I doubt it's the struts. The vibration is not indicative of being "cheap". All cars will vibrate like that if the rotors are warped; cheap cars and expensive cars.

Take it in. It's covered. Nothing like getting a new set of rotors right before warranty runs out. Good luck.
