Where did you get your resonator from? Do you have any pics?

Would I benefit from getting a resonator if my exhaust was too loud? Where does it go?

BTW... the video does no justice, this absolutely sounds amazing I get compliments everywhere I go. Will try to make a better video sometime this week or next.
I got one for you if it sounds good try this. You should do a stealth setup. Open the stock muffler gut it and put a resonator inside and reweld it. Great sound and Warrenty friendly

Guys i did a Muffler Delete back in June and then my Turbo blew and BMW said it was because of the Exhaust and lack of back pressure. i dont know how true it is but be careful... to replace the turbo is 5K and a few weeks of work. If your have dep pockets go ahead and this was on a 335i. Let me know if this happen to you.

Even though the dealership has to prove it first to deny a warranty claim it can be difficult to deal/fight with a large corporation....best advice to give others is to revert your car back to stock whenever you have a warranty claim...the larger the warranty claim the more you should revert back to stock....

Removing the tune should be done 100% of the time (insert MPPK owners here in 3...2....1.. ), removing the DP and exhaust mods should be done depending on the severity of the engine failure warranty claim. A turbo failure is severe enough that I would suggest you revert back to stock 100%...better to pay someone a few hundred for removal than 5000....right?

I fought it for a week, they fixed it. Just picked it up on the 21st. I still have my muffler delete set up and I'm afraid to put it back on lol. I think I'm going to do it today.

So what happened, what was your argument? Did you ask them to prove that it was "the lack of back pressure" that killed the turbo?

I think it would be helpful to others on how to deal with the stealership when issues like this come up....

He also looked at me funny...I said no, it actually sounds good trust me haha. They would have to order the metal and crap so it cost more. I'm still searching around. So anyone want to have one made for me and ship it lol...prob be less.

I called BMW NA and bugged them for a week and finally spoke to a rep from Munich that work in Jersey and explained everything. I told them how I heard the noise of the turbo going out before the exhaust was put on. So they asked me to provide a receipt showing when the car was modified, because their computer can tell them the exact moment when the turbo started acting up. Took about another week for the turbo to come in from Germany.

I recently had the MPPK installed and the sound changed dramatically. I took a video a few days ago and uploaded to YouTube. Sound will change over the video due to the engine warming up.
