Looks like you can buy all the parts for the b58 on the site. Can you buy the whole engine pre assembled like a crate motor? Looks like the whole ZF tranny can be purchased for around $7k. You could buy these and build your own project car like buying a GM crate motor. I know there are some low volume manufacturers that use BMW engines in the U.K.

It was about $450. I did have to work with the dealer to make sure they understood that it was at most a 2 hour job + flashing per the technical information shared here. Once we got that straightened out the costs came in line. Much better than the original quote of almost $2k I got for just the labor.

I verified with a couple other dealers in the area and that was the going rate here.

All in all I saved almost $900 with free shipping, no tax, and the better price I got from getbmwparts.com. Certainly made the decision and the conversation with the CFO easier.

I've bought from them twice, very happy. Just interior cosmetic so installed myself. Fast shipping.

I've bought from them aswell. No issues with items or shipping. Although their contact is a hit or miss, not very good. Sometimes they'll reply to your questions and sometimes they don't. Guess it depends who's working there.

Thanks everyone for the support - we really appreciate it!

The Contact Us form on our site can sometimes be a little glitchy, so if you don't receive a response same-day (or quicker) then please email us directly at gethelp@getbmwparts.com and we will respond as soon as possible.

Edit: I also wanted to address this for clarification:

Easier to order through local Dealer.
While this may be true with other vendors, it has never been the case with us. All genuine BMW nuts, bolts, screws, clips, etc. are discounted 20% off of true/current BMW MSRP when ordered through our site. In fact, adding these types of items to a larger order is often the most economical way to purchase with shipping charges factored in.

Question:
According to their site description:
"Genuine BMW F32/33/36 M Performance 435i/xi Power Kit

The Ultimate Driving Machine gets an exhilarating boost in performance thanks to the new M Performance Power Kit. The BMW M Performance Power Kit features engine tuning software and a new M Performance Engine Air Intake system. In addition, a replacement M Performance Engine Cover and Rocker Panel Decals provide the mark of distinction this retrofit deserves."

So did you guys have those extras?

So this is only on the X35i MPPK? Does the MPPSK for the x40i get the engine cover?

I clicked on performance parts related to my car.
If you click on the ones for your car, you can find out.

I have heard that they don't have the best relationship with Dinan, so in the event of a warranty claim you may be better off having sourced your Dinan gear elsewhere.
