I have a lease as well. Although I have never done this to wheels before, I am an avid gun builder for recreational purposes. I have spray painted several rifles slated for intense use over and over again(using the tougher camo paints) and the stuff comes off quite easily with any kind of paint thinner, I generally use acetone.

Im only wondering with this plastidip, what is its resistance to heat and water if its removed by water?

Just dipped my wheels "anthracite gray"...was actually hoping for a slightly lighter color. As you can see its very close to black. This is before I applied the glossifier, which definitely improved the look. I will post some better pictures with the finished job later today.

Another tip to those who are thinking of doing this - be careful about moving the car with the brake assembly protection in place. I have a pretty steep driveway and the front left caliper caught the plastic back and really sucked it into the caliper assembly. The rear wheels came out much much better than the fronts for some reason and I may just strip down the front two wheels and re-do them since i have plenty of dip left.

Hey! That looks nice! I have the same car with the lip and spoiler.. what brand coil overs do you have? or how did you drop it?

I am thinking about dipping my rims as well with glossfier, which kit did you order/ how many cans black/gloss it it take?
