I finally got Anti-Dazzle HB to work!

After 3 days of looking like an idiot sitting in my car with a laptop I finally got the Anti-Dazzle HB to work it works as advertised. Best of all no one flashed me with my high beam on. The Full LED package is well worth the money, much better than HID.

Congratulations on activating anti-dazzle: I think this feature is the best (if not the only) way to justify the cost of the Lighting package.

For those who are interested in this feature, there is a very long (but I think informative) thread in the F8x forum: Adaptive LED lighting turned on-wow.

There is also an ongoing poll on the LED package: Are you satisfied with the LED headlights?

I had been sitting on the PDF from that thread planning to code it ASAP when my car came in. Just saw a note in the updated version that they hadn't confirmed it to be working with the changes in the LCI models... Anyone have any experience with this yet? I really want to enable this feature!

It depends on your car.

If you have a 2016 F30/31, BMW has changed the ECUs, replacing LHM and TMS with the new FLE (Frontal Light Electronics) ECU. The coding for FLE should be similar, but as far as I know nobody has tried it and confirmed that it works yet.

For other 2016 F3x models, the coding in the PDF should work just the same (it has been confirmed to work on 2016 F8x models).

Yup, F30 LCI 340xi here... So basically the question is if I'm ballsy enough to be the guinea pig.

Just make sure you save your original files, for the most part everything can be reverted to original factory spec.

Sounds like there's some progress on parsing the new ECUs to get NGHBA working again on the F30/F31 LCI... https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sh....php?p=9284573

Somebody should be testing NGHBA on a 2016 X5 with the new ECUs later this week. Hopefully, there will be good news.

Hahaha, I just realized that I quoted you... and then linked to your post on Bimmerfest.

In any case, very good news! Don't mind being one of the early testers, but I think I'd rather avoid being the first tester...

The person I referred to in post #9 (08bmw128i) is waiting to get his X5 back from the body shop. Latest update is early next week.

On Friday I get my new f30 delivered. On this one I have the led headlights, HUD and speed limit info. Is it possible for me to code the anti dazzle? I don't have adaptive lights.

You need both Adaptive LEDs (option code 552) and High Beam Assistant (option code 5AC).

2016 340i

Hello everyone!

I'm new here. just got the cable and E-sys and starting to code my 340i. I have couple questions. Does anyone coded anti dazzle high beam on a 2016 340? also which car to select in E-sys. it shows F020-562 and F020-536?

Thank you all in advance!
