Dinan Tune

Anyone tried the Dinan tune in their cars ? New tune was recently released for the N20 engines. Would be interesting to hear local reviews if any at all.

SouthernBM is the authorised dealer in Australia, and I believe the only one. Yet to speak with Andrew from SouthernBM, but I am assuming that no one has done this here as of yet. Very interested to see the warranty that Dinan Australia can provide, if its similar to what we see in the US.

I installed the BMS Stage 1 unit in my car almost 2 years ago. The car's been for 2 inspections and 1 oil service to the dealer and they never mentioned anything about piggyback tune, let alone any tune tampering with the ECU.

Why bother with something so costly in Dinan, when the BMS is an easy 5 min plug & use device. How much does it cost here?

Did you really have to go and pollute this thread with discussions on other tunes? It's been done to death already and generally as popular as an STD.

No idea on the cost as of yet..planning to find more info. As I mentioned, i'm curious to see the level of cover/warranty that we get here in Aus.

Probably nothing from BMW Australia, unlike the arrangement BMW USA has with Dinan whilst the F3Xs are under warranty.

I asked the question to the dealer who forwarded it onto bmw Australia. There is no affiliation with dinan and warranty will be void.
