Yea, I lost an air vent, so hopefully this is worth it.

That looks great!!

I don't know about losing an air vent though. Using the passenger side vent for me while wife is having a hot flash would definitely be verboten!

In my house before we adjust the thermostat we always decide if it's really hot or "old lady hot"

I second that! Messing with hot flashes is risky business. Imagine this fictional encounter. "Honey, I need to turn your air vent toward me since I'm using mine for this neat readout that tells me all about the car's sta...." I couldn't get word status fully out of my mouth since the wife clocked me in the side of the head with her elbow and knocked me out. Good thing we were still in the driveway

Would that readout fit in the vent closest to the drivers door? I know the Audi ones are typically mounted there, that seems like a less functional vent to lose. If memory serves on the 3 it's a slightly different shape.

The P3s fit there (drivers side door vent). Not quite as slick looking as this..but workable.

That must have been the one I was thinking of. For the Audis there's a small one too that you lose like 25% of the vent in the middle but still open around.

Loving it so far. But one thing I noticed is during the day if you are wearing polarized sunglasses, you can't see the display though.

Install was pretty straight forward. I brought it used so some connectors were missing. Luckily the dealer have them in stock so everything is good.

No recorded time yet. Just drove to and from work today. Will do some testing later on.
Got the painted reflectors from a fellow member here, zman1237

It wouldn't fit as they are different size. And the gauge was build in. Can't really take it out.

Was considering the P3 as well but couldn't resist the deal.

Which gauge is that? I've only seen the P3 ones for a vent install.
