BMW Office E-Mail Accounts- HTC One M8
Hello
I just bought an HTC One M8 (Developer Edition) and it seems to be working well with my 2013 335i. I can even view some e-mails and text messages with the Message Access Profile (MAP) in iDrive. However, I can only see e-mails from the FIRST e-mail account configured in the Android Mail App (no matter which one I mark as the default.) If I delete all the email accounts and re-add, it's always the FIRST one I add that syncs with the car. -Does anyone know if this is a limitation on the phone side or the car side? -Does anyone have a BlackBerry that transfers mail from multiple e-mail accounts to iDrive? (I say BlackBerry because they have been supporting Bluetooth MAP longest!) Thanks for any feedback! Andrew |

Can't comment on the functionality of your HTC phone, but for my BlackBerry Q10 I am able to receive emails in iDrive from all 3 email accounts set up on my Q10.

Thanks for the feedback! It sounds like an Android issue then.
BMW listed the email feature with "limited functionality" on their website. For now, I am just forwarding all my messages to an Outlook.com account which is now the FIRST one in my Android Mail list. I then disable notifications (on the phone) for the actual e-mail accounts (mostly IMAP). This way I see all new messages in a Unified Inbox on my phone and car, then if I want to reply, delete, or move messages I just go into the actual mail folder and perform the task. |

I know this is an old post but just got my M8 and I experience the same thing. With my previous HTC One (M7) all email accounts are showing up! I hope the next release of code on the HTC will fix this

I have a Samsung Note 2 with Kitkat 4.4.2 on AT&T on a CIC unit, but I don't get emails. Just text messages. Do you all have the NBT unit on your 2013's?

Were you ever able to figure this out?
I recently got an Android phone (Galaxy S7) and only see text messages and emails from the "default" account, not all 3 of the email accounts I have set-up on my phone. With my old BlackBerry I was able to see all 3 email accounts and text messages.
