Curious if anyone has retro fitted the OEM blinds to the rear windows? These are an option https://www.carshades.co.uk/privacy-...ng-p-5196.html I would have to see if I can get them to the US... if not sent to my mum and forwarded?

Same question for F30 rear windows?

Bump has anyone tried this product on their f30, I had no clue they existed as a retrofit option.

The issue I see is OEM goes inside the rear door trim (and shelf) so those parts would need a long slit that I doubt can be done very neatly.

And even at a discount, you are talking around $1300+ for OEM Parts.

The part you listed above does not retract into body....it’s an aftermarket piece, not a Retrofit.

Thanks, I figured as much. $1300 is a little steep! I may invest in the UK ones. Plan on a visit in the summer anyway.

Got it, not exactly what I was look for, but a decent option to keep the car cooler when parked all day. The only F31 ones I have seen are on that UK site.

As luck would have it, going through parts I have in my junked up garage, found I have a rear shelf with the expensive power sunblind built in. Easy to retrofit shelf with unit built in already...or take the electric blind out and reinstall in your current shelf with a little more work.

Had totally forgotten about it.

Let me know if interested in it.

As I said, I have unit OEM with shelf assembly, so the shelf would be included as well.

Would like to take you up on it. I have a wagon though. Was looking at the side windows in trunk and rear doors- darn.

I have family in the UK so may invest while I am over there and send to my self back in the US.

Thanks F31 - I'm planning to visit family. I can get the ones in the UK for $120 then ship them back to myself... should be $150 all in. I may call an see if they would be prepared to ship direct.
