I'm in two minds to get mine done as a new car treatment or do it myself as a geeky cleaner but also like you but struggle to find time.

Personally, I would get first one done professionally, decide what you want n it.

Then ask them what they advise for wash n wax treatment during the year.

Some also do a pre winter protection.

While it is easy enough to do yourself, time and weather tend to bugger things up.

Yeah that's my thinking. I wish I could spend the day on it but simply not going to happen and don't have all the tools.
