I have used this site for a few years now when leasing. Not sure how anyone can stop him from publishing lease rates:

It's a blow to the community, but I think we all know that these details will still be published, maybe even if not on that one site.

Truly disgusting. That was a great site. Used it many times to get important info on rates and incentives.

I bet some of the CAs and dealerships cannot stop grinning and laughing now. They can play around a lot more with MFs.

Some dealers will make some easy money now

Most of the buyers will go for the 'payment' option and the dealers will jack up the MF to make easy bucks... sucks for that site!

I think the issue is not the information it self per se, but the fact he was publishing the whole thing as a table as opposed to a blog with multiple entries from different people. That appears to be more like insider info of a proprietary info.

I believe he might have shut down because of the Dodd-Frank act , specifically the Consumer Finance "Protection" Bureau and some of their guidelines regarding posting financing rates, monthly payments, etc, and not by individual dealers/manufacturers pestering him.

I have a decent dealership that shares the rates with me along with invoice pricing. Use to be nice when I could figure out pricing before calling my dealer. Just going forward I will now have to ask for the rates in advance. Bumemr for G as his site was great!
