Question Stretching 225/45-18's on 8.5 inch staggered setup

I'm on stock rubber now, but should be inheriting a staggered M Sport setup in the near future.

I was wondering if it's possible to run 225/45-18's all around on a staggered setup (front are 18x8, rear 18x8.5).

I realize it defeats the purpose, but I also know summer rubber burns fast and I'd rather not sell the all seasons at such a discount if I can throw them on...

Ok perfect, just wanted to see.
I mean, the rears are noticeably wider and heavier, so it might look goofy, but then I won't have to worry about selling my 225 all seasons...

Won't even a stretch. I had 225/45/18 on 9.5 and it wasn't much. A really nice stretch is 225/35/19 on a 9.5!!

LOL, that sounds painful...for the rubber that is.

Ok cool, I'll cancel my ad on the classifieds then, I'll just put the All Seasons on when the summer rubber wears out....I'll have to remember not to rotate them, that's all (since it would be goofy to have an 8.5" rim in the front).
