F31 survey

Did anyone else get the survey from BMW Canada about their F31? Among a couple other questions it asked if i would prefer a manual transmission and whether a higher output engine would have been preferable. I answered yes to both. If they get enough feedback in wonder if they are considering a manual/335 option for Canada??!

I received one as well. Perhaps the folks at BMWCA are starting to listen to their customer base.

It seems like a real long shot, since they sell so few F31s anyway. That said, one of the things that stopped me from picking up a loaded 2014 328i F31 earlier this year was the engine.

I already have the same engine in my X1, so even though the F31 is a huge upgrade over the X1 in terms of space, styling and quality, it didn't feel like it would really make sense to get a much more expensive car with very similar mechanicals.

If we could get an F31 with the same engine as the 535d, or with the N55 engine, it would be pretty hard to resist. I can't imagine they would sell any fewer than they do F34s, and there is no additional burden on dealers since the mechanicals are common throughout other BMW models.

Did you had that survey following your purchase? Never heard about it myself.

I picked up my car 18 months ago. I just received a request to complete the survey sent to me via email.
