The latest I-Step is F020-14-07-502. Your car is probably on F020-13-07-506, which is a full year older. But this really isn't important. All that matters is that KOMBI now has a CAFD that is not corrupted and can be coded.

BMW has a problem with cafd_000009c8-006_000_030, and it should never have been included in PSdZData. In an older version of PSdZData, cafd_000009c8-006_000_030 was 0 Bytes. It seemed like BMW fixed it becuase the new version was 1.03 Mb, but it still is not fixed. It is corrupt, and can't be used. Any KOMBI with cafd_000009c8-006_000_030 will need to have it replaced if it is to be coded.

If you do not have previous PSdZData version lying around , it is much easier to just inject a new CAFD into ECU than find a download location for previous PSdZData version and download a 5.6 Gb file and extract it to get one CAFD from it.

To make it real easy, here is cafd_000009c8.caf.006_000_030:

Why are you detecting CAFD? ECU has no CAFD? Is this factory fitted ECU or Retrofit?

I have no idea what you have going on. You say you had 6WA, but error above shows BKOMBI, which is Basic Kombi. 6WA is KOMBIi and 6WB is DKOMBI.

All I can tell you is to inject CAFD, at a minimum FA must be correct (Type Code, Build Date, and Option Codes) and then your PSdZData must also have comptable CAFD with existing ECU firmware. SVT must also be correct, and if ECU is showing BKOMBI, and you have 6WB, your SVT is not correct.

Yes. You corrupted ECU CAFD, and ruined it. Now you must inject new CAFD into ECU and Encode it.

Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Left-Click on desired ECU => Click on "Detect CAF for SWE" => Select the CAFD from latest I-Level shown (bottom one) => Select OK => Right-Click on ECU (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE.

Please advise how can I change svt? Have same problem with retrofitting F20 basis kombi to 6WA. I cant see 6WA in diagnosis and esys Read ECU. So I need to delete BKombi from SVT and how to add 6WA KOmbi?

Load SVT in E-Sys => Editors & Viewers => SVT-Editor and modify SVT.
