Question bilstein B8 shocks... questions

can you add the bilstein B8 struts/shocks to any lowering spring such as h&r sports?

also are the bilstein B8 shocks compatible to all f30 cars including the xi?

i currently have the h&r sports on my m sport wagon f31 but am looking for a crisper rebound and response out of the struts and shocks and feel a higher quality and performance oriented bilstein could make the difference i’m looking for.

please post your input and thoughts.

thanks!!!

When I purchased my Bilstein B8's, I believe they could be used in conjunction with any lowering springs. I went with H&R Sport Springs and haven't had any issues, great stance and some added performance as well. The suspension is very snug and has little give, but it is still comfortable enough on the open road.

As for the Xi, not sure...

Xi b8 will be available in Europe since 08/14. I have part numbers for xi, but the production is not started. I use eibach pro-kit -20 front and -15 rear springs, h&r sway bars and I'm going to use bilstein b8.. Waiting 08/14 to make order!

Bilstein b8 + eibach pro-kit = bilstein b12 suspension kit!

Maybe with h&r sport springs b8 will work fine two, but bilstein recommends to use eibach with their b8 shoks!
