EDIT: Dear god there are sites for everything!

K5 has a hose reel though, I wouldn't want one without a reel tbh.

Nilfisk E145 ordered £199 with metal 10m hose and metal pump internals. Lovely Jubly.

Xmas sorted for Mrs Chris The Manx.arrived at the weekend so have it a spin today, testing on the mini and the driveway side slabs before the real deal arrives.

AWESOME bit if kit. What a waste that Halfords low power version was!

Snow foaming a car is very therapeutic too.

Cheers for the recommendations.

That price is amazing. My 0.003 bar 300ml/hr halfords job cost that a few years back.

Worth a punt I'd say. Black Friday deals all over the inerwebs is great!

I'd probably spend just £30 more on this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nilfisk-X-Tr...ywords=Nilfisk

I bought one from this seller: http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/170552136580
Wish I'd thought of this before I bought a Karcher extension hose for my K4, which is utter crap - it just won't lie flat on the ground.

Thanks for the link - am now getting an end-to-end replacement rubber hose.

Get an autobrite snow foam lance, miles better.

Had mine about 4 years now, works brilliantly.

Yea but it doesn't work very well, as Brig says get an autobrite one, they're worth it.

If you want the patio washer them yeah, this looks OK. Otherwise the b and q deal is better, providing you can find stock.

Have had both karcher and nilfisk. Currently using a nilfisk 130 which I have had for a few years. Really solid washer but definitely worth investing in a decent rubber hose. Standard plastic type ones with them are awful. Will vouch for Autobrite lance, works great.

Garage List
I've forgotten which Karcher I've got. Think it's a full control K4?

I mean, it's fine - but really, honestly and truly, I very rarely use it for washing the car. Mainly because I just can't be fucked having to get the extension leads out, the washer out along with the hose, lances, and everything else. Not to mention having to pack wet cables/leads and hoses away afterwards. It's just too much faff.

If all you want is something to do the car with (incl. snow foam), why not have a look at this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07822J5...977&th=1&psc=1

I'm thinking of getting one because it's less ballache.

The Karcher is a cleaning the patio/pathway tool for me really - you don't need or want the mega pressure for washing a car anyway.

Thats an interesting concept - never realised you could get something like that.

I have a Nilfisk - hooked to my garage wall - with a 10m hose with the lance attached... so the only ball ache for me is getting the hose to the front of the garage to connect it up.. the unit doesnt even come off the wall - just unwind the lance and turn the plug on!

Never seen these before either. Certainly looks like an interesting option. As you say you don't necessarily need /want mega pressure to wash the car. If you do get one I'd be keen to hear how you get on.
