Are we all getting old? Energy prices - FFS!

Anyway, I'm a long term SSE customer however after racking up a £600 credit with them due to mis calculated DD I kicked them into touch.

I rarely go cheap, in favour of best value, but last time around I just went for the rock bottom price with ExtraEngergy as a gamble. The online system is pretty basic but my monthly dual fuel went from £190 to £118 yet I'm still in massive credit!

Pretty sure their electric isn't as bad as cheap supermarket diesel either...

That is a lot! I'm in over £500 credit with Npower, so I'll be saving £28pm, will get over £400 back after £100 exit fee, plus £30 cashback after 3 months from BG!

So I have added Memory Seats to my new car order!

I don't see Sainsburys on the list though, so maybe they don't supply my area?
No worries, it's a very useful piece of mind to know that you're paying the best rates at all times!

Edit: I've taken my own advice and gone back to British Gas, only saves me £109 a year but fixed for another 12 months with no exit fees and £30 cashback. Happy days

Lol the only other alternative for spare cash.

Appreciate the thread Malaka the Parisian Greek, prompted me to look into it.

Currently back at BG!

We've just moved from ExtraEnergy, their customer service is terrible, generate a bill every 6-12 months but takes a further 2 months for you to get it, decide to increase your D/D without consultation, rational reason or the possibility of reverting. Just dreadful.

Granted you eventually get it back but the whole process was frankly poor.

Doesn't surprise me in the least... They are cheap and cheerful.

I was getting this piss poor service from SSE so decided to go with a cheap supplier even if the service was equally shite!
